Flat Roofing

Alan Nedelea, Division Manager (Flat & Sheet Metal). Alan started re-roofing in 1991 as a young laborer at the age of 19 working on hot asphalt tar and gravel projects. He wasn’t sure how long he would keep his job, but Tim Black could see more than just potential. He saw an opportunity to develop a hard worker, with the skills to learn and provide customers a professional experience on all roofing construction aspects.

Five years later, as the roofing industry moved to single-ply systems, Alan became the youngest foreman at Black Roofing Inc., supervising 8 to 10 man crews. In 2003, after a short time in the service department as a technician, Dan Zahtila and Tim Black gave Alan the opportunity to move into a larger leadership role as Commercial Superintendent; overseeing multiple re-roofs and new construction projects from set-up through final completion. Since that time Alan feels blessed to have the incredible resources at Black Roofing in his fellow co-workers and supervisors.
